Accreditation Overview

Capstone Academy is accredited through FCIS (Florida Council of Independent Schools). FCIS is one of the largest accrediting organizations of independent schools in the United States. FCIS promotes the highest standards for PreK-12 education through its accreditation process, professional development programming, and advocacy efforts.

Our preschool division is accredited by APPLE (Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment).  APPLE is a nationally known accreditation program that recognizes early learning centers for operating high quality programs.

Florida Coalition of Christian Private Schools Accreditation, Inc. (FCCPSA) certifies that Capstone Academy has completed the inspection requirements of FCCPSA and is in compliance with the requirements per Florida Statutes 402.316(1).  Capstone’s facility meets the requirements of the applicable local governing body as to health, sanitation, safety and meets the screening requirements under Florida Statutes 402.305 and 402.3055.

Capstone Academy is also a Gold Seal Quality Care Program and is licensed through the Department of Children and Families. A Gold Seal Program is recognized for going above and beyond the licensing requirements and reflecting quality in the level of care and supervision provided to children.

Capstone Academy is affiliated with the National Association of Independent Schools through its FCIS Accreditation.
